Ayako Kayama - Biography

Ayako Kayama is a Japanese artist.
Born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Ayako was sickly when she was a child. She can't play outdoors like ordinary children. She couldn't play well outdoors, so it painting and reading books filled her day.
Ayako saw the little bird flying in the sky and shed tears unintentionally, saying, "I want to fly freely in the sky like that little bird."
But she had a friend. It's a girl friend in her fantasy world. Ayako talked with the girls in a fantasy world and played and had a very happy time.
When Ayako was lonely, when Ayako was sad, and when Ayako was happy, the girls were always with Ayako.
The girls met in the fantasy world are still near Ayako.
Ayako draws the girls in a painting with her love.

Joshibi High school of Art and Design graduation.
Joshibi University of Art and Design Junior College graduation.
2007 Contemporary Japan Art Association Award Grand Prize Winner.
Contemporary Japan Art Association member.

Traveling to Europe for painting.
She traveled to Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Slovakia and Austria.
She held her first solo exhibition at Gallery Paris in Yokohama in 2008.
